Description:

Roguelands is a 2D side-scrolling RPG with lashings of roguelike elements thrown in for good measure.

From what’s been shown so far, Roguelands seems to echo the aesthetics of Sean’s previous games. The story focuses on the Galactic Cadets – an elite task force sent out into the wide expanse of deep space in search of valuable resources that might help the people of earth to stave off an attack from an ancient evil known as the Destroyer. As a Cadet you must traverse across the stars, jumping between the vast spectrum of foreign planets in search of materials that you can use to upgrade your gear to better prepare yourself for the fights that lay ahead of you.
